A Tiny Chip Represents the Integration of Technologies and Intelligence

SoC Technology Center (STC) is undertaking the responsibility of leading Taiwan’s semiconductor industry toward high value-added innovative design technologies of Silicon Intellectual Property (SIP), therefore it is quite important and significant for STC to strengthen the development of SoC’s application. Different from traditional IC design, SoC is a design technology integrating many SIPs onto one single chip to meet requirements of various products in terms of function, circuit and knowledge. Such tiny chips can be a golden key to open the door of a new era for Taiwan's semiconductor industry because they play an essential role to create smaller, cheaper, multiple function, and power efficient products.
